Meet the Staff

Tim Allen
Tim gets up every morning and cares for people because Jesus loves him and saved him. His parents were involved in the occult, and he is grateful that when he was young they left and started going to church. He clearly remembers hearing the gospel and accepting Jesus as his savior at age 5. As a self-proclaimed nerd who wants to know all there is to know about lots of topics, he grew up feeling called to be a doctor or a pastor, eventually attending medical school where he met and married his wife, Nikki. Though he had planned to do overseas missions, God called him to care for people in Cudahy including those who struggle with addiction and mental health. Over the course of a few years he and Nikki felt God calling them to plant a church in Cudahy, and in obedience to God they started what became Cudahy Christian Church in November of 2020. As the Lead Pastor he wants to help people know God and his Son Jesus through the Holy Spirit as he attempts to teach the whole counsel of the Bible in its spiritual, social, and historical context.

Nikki Allen
Nikki grew up in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, and prayed each night that God would make her “good enough.” While faithfully attending her local Catholic church, she always wanted to please God, and she strived to do her best to try to be good enough. Despite excelling in high school, getting a full scholarship for college and then going to medical school, she wrestled with depression and the continued awareness that no amount of success could undo her failures. It wasn’t until she understood and accepted that Jesus died to pay the price for her never-good enough self that she finally started finding some freedom in the unmerited love of God. In her role as doctor and now pastor she is desperate to help others understand the love God has for them while also calling them to correct understanding of their current brokenness and need for forgiveness. Worship songs and lyrics have been one of the ways she has drawn closest to God, and she seeks to lead the church in encountering and responding to God’s love in deeper ways.

Rachel Wesley
Rachel is a lifelong Cudahy resident who graduated from Cudahy High School and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. From the time she was a child, Rachel has always loved God and wanted to serve Him. Multiple brain surgeries and medical issues limited her ability to do ministry for many years. God, though, had other plans and has brought her through disabilities and depression, provided healing, and transformed her life through Jesus Christ. She loves taking care of people and supporting and encouraging them as they grow in their walks with the Lord while sharing the story of how God has worked in her own life. God has given her a heart for law enforcement and first responders. She is passionate about helping them deal with the unique challenges and traumas they face in their jobs, and how that impacts their lives. God provided the opportunity to complete extensive chaplain training. She decided to earn her Chaplain Certification and trusted God would help her to use it for His glory. Now, Rachel is blessed to serve as Chaplain for the Cudahy Police Department. It is one of her greatest joys, and God’s true calling in her life.
Our History
Tim and Nikki Allen have been doctors in the Cudahy area since the early 2000s, and they’ve had a growing calling to plant a church in the area to minister to the people they have grown to love. In November of 2020, together with some members of their long-term small group from another church, they started having Sunday services in the office of their clinic, then rented space in the Taj Palace before finally finding a long-term home in the old PLAV in Spring of 2022. Rachel Wesley joined as the sole paid pastor in November of 2022, and God provided that she became chaplain for the Cudahy Police Department in November of 2023. There are more details shared in the video of the history of the church, but we are thankful for the testimonies of how God has provided so far and are looking forward to seeing God continue to work in the hearts and lives of the people of Cudahy and surrounding areas.
Statement Of Faith
Cudahy Christian Church is a non-denominational Christian church located in Cudahy, Wisconsin. We are not afficliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) denomination.
We Believe
- The Bible is the inspired, inerrant (in its original manuscripts), and authoritative Word of God. We believe the Bible is the final authority in all issues of faith and morality for every individual Christian, as well as for the church collectively, and we submit ourselves to God’s authority on all such issues. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:21, John 10:35)
- We believe there is one God who eternally exists as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that all things were created by Him and for Him. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 45:21-22, Matthew 28:19, Colossians 1:16)
- We believe that God the Son became a human being in the person of Jesus Christ. That He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life (for He was without sin), died a substitutionary death for all mankind, was raised from the dead the third day, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God until His enemies are made His footstool. (John 1:1, 14, Matthew 1:18-25, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 3:18, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Hebrews 10:12-13)
- We believe the Holy Spirit was sent by the Father and the Son to convict believers of sin and to guide in righteousness. We believe the Holy Spirit regenerates, indwells, and seals believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and that He empowers them to live as His witnesses. (John 14:16-17, John 16:7-11, Titus 3:5-6, Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 1:13-14, Acts 1:8, Romans 12:6-8, 1 Corinthians 12-14, 1 Peter 4:10-11)
- We believe that God created human beings, male and female, in His own image. He created them sinless, equal in value, dignity, and worth. (Genesis 1:26-28, Ephesians 5:22-6:4, 1 Timothy 3:1-7) We further believe God created the gift of sexual intercourse to be only allowed between one man and one woman in the bounds of marriage. We further agree that God, in His perfection, is the only one who assigns us a gender or sexual identity.
- We believe that, as a result of Adam & Eve’s fall, all people are sinners by nature and in need of a Savior, and that Jesus Christ is the one and only Savior of the world. We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ, but faith without works is dead. We believe God has made Himself manifest in this world so that none are without excuse. (Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:18-19, Matthew 1:21, 1 John 4:14, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9)
- We believe there is one church, the body of Christ, consisting of men and women from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation. We believe that each local congregation is an expression of that universal church. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 4:4, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, Revelation 5:9, Acts 2:42-47)
- We believe in the resurrection of the dead. Believers will be raised to life and unbelievers to shame and everlasting contempt (hell). (Daniel 12:2, John 5:25-29, Revelation 21:1-22:5)
- We are Young Earth Creationists: We believe God created all that exists in 6 days, spending the 7th day in rest. We believe the Words of God in Genesis to be true and accurate literal descriptions of what God did in Creation. (Genesis 1)
- We are Continuationists: We believe that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in Scripture including but not limited to prophesy, healing, tongues, discernment of spirits and teaching are available to and active in His church today. (John 14:16-17, John 16:7-11, Titus 3:5-6, Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Ephesians 1:13-14, Acts 1:8, Romans 12:6-8, 1 Corinthians 12-14, 1 Peter 4:10-11)
- We are Egalitaian: We believe that God created human beings, male and female, in His own image. He created them sinless, equal in value, dignity, and worth. According to His purpose and design, God created male and female to fulfill distinct but complementary roles in the contexts of marriage, family, and the local church. We believe that women may teach and serve as pastors. (Genesis 1:26-28, Ephesians 5:22-6:4, 1 Timothy 3:1-7).
- We are Premillennial: We believe in the pre-millennial return of Christ to the earth, to sit upon the throne of David and rule over the house of Jacob (Israel), and the entire cosmos, forever. (Revelation 20:1-6, Luke 1:31-33, Isaiah 9:6-7)
